Built by
/ athletes,
for athletes.
Fiz is the social platform for functional fitness — functional training (popular in CrossFit® gyms), hybrid racing, hybrid training and triathlon. Created by people who train daily and were tired of feeds that didn't speak our language.
A social network
/ built around
the workout.
Fiz is a mobile app and web platform where athletes create, share, and remix structured workouts. Think Strava, but built for sessions you can't reduce to a GPS line — AMRAPs, EMOMs, For Time chippers, lifts, race-day simulations, and complex hybrid training. Every workout has a public leaderboard. Every workout can be remixed. Every athlete gets a profile, a feed, and a training history.
Fiz covers functional fitness (hero workouts, classic benchmarks, competition-style chippers), hybrid racing (race station prep, race sims, pacing builders), triathlon and Ironman (brick workouts, intervals, race-day sessions), and general functional and hybrid training.
The feeds
we had
/ didn't speak
our language.
Most fitness apps were built for runners, cyclists, or weekend gym-goers. The ones built for "us" were either coach-only programming tools, or single-modality apps that ignored the way modern athletes train — mixing strength, conditioning, gymnastics, and endurance in one week.
We wanted a feed that understood a 21-15-9 Fran score, a hybrid race PB, an Ironman 70.3 brick, and a 1RM clean and jerk — without having to translate any of it. Where you could lift a session out of someone's feed, swap the equipment to match your gym, and publish your version. Where the community is the library.
Three surfaces.
/ One platform.
Fiz is one product made of three connected surfaces — a workout engine, a social feed, and a leaderboard that ranks every score that's ever been logged. Each one feeds the next.
Read the how-to guides →Describe it. Train it.
Describe what you want — "20-min hybrid race prep, sled push and ski erg, race pace" — and Fiz writes the workout. AMRAP, EMOM, For Time, Ladder, Circuit, Tabata, or fully custom. Fine-tune in the manual editor before publishing.
The community is the library.
Follow athletes, see their sessions, lift any workout into your own collection. One-tap remix preserves the structure; swap movements, tune reps, cap the time. The lineage is public.
Every workout. Every score.
Submit scores, see how you stack up globally and against friends. Per-workout PRs, training history, and Wrapped-style year stats. The board is the answer.
Principles
/ behind the build.
Four rules. They're not slogans — they're the things we argue about when a feature gets messy. If a decision can't pass these, it doesn't ship.
Would I want this on a training day?
Every product decision passes the training-day test. If it doesn't help you train, it doesn't ship. No exceptions for growth hacks.
Every remix credits the original.
Every score has provenance. The community owns the workout library, not us. Lift a session, swap the movements, ship it — the source stays attached.
No infinite-scroll traps.
No fake metrics. No engagement-bait notifications. Fiz works whether you open it once a week or every day — and if you stop opening it, that's your call.
The core stays free.
Creating, sharing, scoring, remixing — all free. Forever. Fiz Pro adds creator tools for athletes who want them; it doesn't gate the things that make Fiz work.

A small team.
/ Long-term plans.
Fiz is built by a small founder-led team. Engineer-led, athlete-led, no committee. We ship the app we wanted to exist when we started taking training seriously.
- Elliot Wanless — Founder. Engineer and lifelong athlete across functional fitness, hybrid racing, and strength sport. Building the platform he wanted to exist.
- Built on Supabase, Cloudflare, and Resend.
- Native iOS and Android, one codebase.
- Registered in London — Fiz Global Ltd, Company N° 17237174.
